Millenium is a super-alpha breed that was named after its' release in the year 2000. Derived from Nugget, it demonstrates a similar brewing profile to Nugget and other Columbus-type hops. Millenium is often described as somewhat pungent with resin, floral, toffee and pear aromas. Typically used for bittering due to its' high alpha acid content, brewers are re-discovering the hop for aroma additions due to it's relatively high oil content.
