High Altitude Home Brew Supply was started in June of 2017 to provide Northern Arizona with fermentation supplies for home beer, wine, cheese, kombucha, and cider making. We have since expanded into other sorts of ferments like vegetable ferments and vinegar.
Adam Harrington the owner of High Altitude Home Brew Supply has been brewing at home since 2011. In 2013 his passion for all things fermented took him on a journey into the world of professional brewing when he landed a job as a keg cleaner and packaging tech at Mother Road Brewery. After years of hard work and dedication to the craft, he earned the position of Lead Brewer and Barrel Manager. An injury to his back, in 2016, forced him to step down from his position as a brewer but allowed him to continue expressing his love for beer through the brewery taproom, where he worked as a manager for the better part of a year. During a meeting at the local home brew club, and over a few beers, the idea to open a home brew shop in Flagstaff was born.
