Beginners Cheese Class

Join Master cheesemaker, Amanda Repka, for an introduction to cheese making. We will be making quick mozzarella from cows milk and a chevre from goats milk. If time permits we may even try our hands at whey ricotta. Learn all the steps to make cheese including; setting a curd, cutting the curd, draining the whey, salting the cheese and more. Press your own cider
Got apples? Turn them into cider. Stop by with a basket of apples and press them into fresh apple cider. We are renting out time on our apple mill and cider press for most Fridays and Saturdays of September and October. For only $7.00 dollars per 5 gallon bucket of apples you can press between 1 and 2 gallons of fresh cider.
Cider pressing dates and times:
September: 21st, 28th, 29th from noon - 4 pm
October: 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th from noon - 4 pm
