Belgian Quad ale, barrel aged in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. Brewed typically in the Trappist monasteries as their strongest beer. Flavor has elements of dark stone fruit including cherries and plums with a heavy backbone of caramel and raisins, the nose is strong with caramel and bourbon from the barrel that it was aged in, although the bourbon flavors are much more subtle than in the nose. Even though it is such a big beer, the mouth feel is fairly crisp and not overwhelmingly heavy.

ABV: 10.5%
