Brewtan B - 1 oz

BrewTan B (formerly named Tanal B) is an all natural tannic acid that extends shelf life and enhances flavor and colloidal stability. The tannins in Brewtan B react with wort proteins though absorption and precipitation, which then settles out in the trub when brewing. Highly effective in coagulating and flocculating unstable haze producing proteins. 

To use when mashing, dissolve ¼ teaspoon of powder in warm water and add to mash strike water. If adding to the boil, dissolve ½ teaspoon of powder in half a cup of warm water, and add about 15 minutes before the end of the boil. If using in the boil, add Brewtan-B before adding any sort of kettle fining like Irish Moss or Whirlfloc.   1 oz. bag
