(General AA range 11-13%) A half-sister of Nugget that features the lowest cohumulone level (15-20%) of any hop. Hops with a lower level of cohumulone usually have a smoother bitterness. The amazing thing about Horizon - along with Nugget and Magnum - is that you get smooth bitterness with a high alpha-acid and high oil content. The aroma and flavor blend well with Hallertau, Saaz, Mt. Hood, Liberty, and Tettnanger to produce fantastic Ales and Lagers. Try it!
