These Toasted American Oak chips come from American White oak which imparts strong vanilla and spice. Medium toast makes them perfect for round flavors.
We recommend using 2-4 oz per 5 gallons of wine or 1-2 oz per 5 gallons of beer.
Be careful of "over oaking" your beverage. Age for 2 weeks on oak and then taste weekly until desired taste is achieved, then rack off of oak chips
